Casework and vitrine design, and advice on displaying light-sensitive objects.

Select duties:
1. Managing all exhibition-related activities, including:

Developing and implementing (concept - installation - de-installation) over thirty special exhibitions and events annually.

Overseeing the jurying process of all juried shows and events.

Oversight of the gallery staff (3), interns, gallery volunteers, and docents (40).

Seeking funding to support exhibition and collection programming.

Creating artist contracts, prospectuses, press releases, exhibition posters, brochures, e-invites, text panels, and ads.

Developing Southern Delaware's first regional juried photography exhibition that received over three hundred submissions from artists living in five states and the District of Columbia in its first year.

Collaborating with area photographers to develop and sustain an on-campus digital print studio.

Successfully negotiating with the City of Rehoboth a high-visibility permanent exhibition site in City Hall.

Developing and implementing educational programming for exhibitions and events. Collaborating with prestigious organizations, including the Academy Art Museum, Biggs Museum of American Art, Delaware Art Museum, Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD), George Washington University, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), National Gallery of Art, National Portrait Gallery, Salisbury University, and Philadelphia Clayworks.
2. Managing the permanent collection containing over nine hundred artworks and objects, including:

Oversight of institutional loans.

Teaching interns and staff best practices in handling, displaying, and storing artwork and artifacts.

Oversight of works undergoing conservation treatment.

Relocating the permanent collection and organizational archives into an onsite museum-standard storage facility, creating object reports, re-cataloging all objects, and ensuring all works' safe storage.

Developing and implementing Adopt-a-Work, an innovative fundraising campaign supporting the collection that resulted in the conservation treatment of eleven works of art in its first year.
3. Managing the interiors, displays, and docent program at the Peter Marsh' Homestead' House, a historic home built in 1743.
Creating text panels and docent teaching guides.
4. Co-managing social media, marketing, and website-related activities.
V. Principal Director, Gallery 50 Rehoboth Beach, DE (2007 – 2013)
Gallery 50 is a commercial contemporary art gallery that, during my directorship, represented thirty national emerging and mid-career
artists and supporting nonprofit organizations. The gallery received the 2010 Business of the Year Award from AIDS Delaware.
